Exams to enter into agriculture and allied streams

To get admission into state agricultural universities to pursue B Sc ( Hons) Agriculture, B tech Ag, B S c home science. B Sc food science, one can enter through

a.       1. ICAR AIEEA –UG examination (for getting admission in state agricultural universities and central universities)

b.      2. EAMCET exam and 10+2 performance-  by attending counseling as per advertisement given by university on www.angrau.ac.in {for biology(B S c Ag) and mathematics(B tech Ag) stream students}

c.      3.  AGRICET examination (for Ag diploma students)   

 

The Indian council of agricultural research (ICAR) is an apex body in India for coordinating education and research on agriculture in entire country.  On behalf of ICAR, national testing agency (NTA) conducts all India entrance exam for admission (AIEEA) to UG, PG, P h D in state agriculture universities with scholarships and fellowships.  

ANDHRA PRADESH government conducts EAMCET engineering, medical and agriculture common entrance exam every year for admissions into under graduate courses in government colleges in state. based on  EAMCET rank and 10+2 percentage, students are called for counselling by Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University and Dr Y S R Horticultural University  for admitting into B Sc (Hons) Ag, Btech Ag, B Sc Food science, B Sc Home science, B V Sc and B Sc Horti respectively.

ANGRAU notifys AGRICET exam for admitting Ag diploma students into Agriculture graduation courses.

Examination to enter into agriculture and allied sector graduation at central level is AIEEA- UG and at Andhra Pradesh state level is EMCET or AGRICET.
