The Indian council of agricultural research (ICAR) is an apex body in India for coordinating education and research on agriculture in entire country. On behalf of ICAR, national testing agency (NTA) conducts all India entrance exam for admission (AIEEA) to UG with fellowships.
Who
can write these exams: eligibility?
1. Age
minimum 16 years
2. Education:
pass in 10+2 conducted by senior secondary examination by central/ state boards
with minimum percentage ( 50% - general, OBC non creamy layer ,UPS, EWS : 40%
-SC, ST, Trangender, PwD categories)
3. Candidate
must have studied any of the following subjects to get eligible for agriculture
and allied degree courses – physics (P), chemistry(C), botany(B), mathematics(M),
agriculture(A).
For getting eligibility to B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, one has to study
either of PCB/PCMB/ PCM/Inter-Agriculture. For getting eligibility to B.Sc.
(Hons.) Horticulture, one has to study either of PCB/PCMB/PCM/Inter-Agriculture
. For getting eligibility to B.F.Sc. , one has to study either of PCB/PCMB/
Inter-Agriculture. For getting eligibility to B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry , one has
to study either of PCB/PCMB/ Inter-Agriculture.
For getting eligibility to B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science , one has to study
either of PCB/ PCMB/ PCM PCB/PCM. For
getting eligibility to B.Sc. (Hons.) Sericulture, one has to study either of
PCB/ PCMB/ PCM PCB/PCM. For getting eligibility to B. Tech. Agricultural
Engineering, one has to study either of PCM/
PCMB PCM. For getting eligibility to B. Tech. Dairy Technology, one has to
study either of PCM/PCMB /PCM. For getting eligibility to B. Tech. Food
Technology, one has to study either of PCM/PCMB/ PCM. For getting eligibility
to B. Tech. Bio- Technology, one has to study either of PCM/PCMB/PCB PCM/PCB.
Based on subjets registered in 10+2, subjects to be attempted in entrance exam
will be finalized. One can write exam with the subjects they have learned in
10+2.

Mode of examination: Computer based test (CBT)
Duration: 150 min (2:30 hrs)
Number of questions: 150 multiple choice questions (50 for each subject)
Medium of exam: English and Hindi
NOTE: Each question carries 4 marks and -1 negative marking for each wrong answer.

Read and revise as per topics in syllabus. It is
